To help spread the Christmas spirit throughout the season, members of the Grayson Fire Department dress up as characters like Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, The Grinch, Buddy the Elf, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolf, and Picachu to appear throughout the community at schools, parades, and other events. A larger group of GFD members also gather every year to build a light display on the fire department for the community to enjoy.
